PROFESSIONAL YOGA TEACHER TRAINING CERTIFICATION

This program is for those who are serious about launching or enhancing their professional yoga career and self discovery.

​

You will study gentle yoga, hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative yoga, meditation, pranayama (the science of breath) and yoga nidra (sleep yoga). 

 

You will study (4) four of our Asana Guides: (1) Standard Postures, (2) Advanced Postures, (3) Restorative Postures & (4) Yin Postures, which is a compilation of the breakdown of over 200 yoga asana; including the Sanskrit name, English translation meaning, anatomical & energetic target, contraindication & posture category.

You will also learn safe transition postures, and how to effectively bring them into your asana classes; and learn how to creatively incorporate yoga philosophy, personal development pranayama, mudras & meditation into your classes, providing your students with an empowering & life enhancing experience.

You will study teaching methodology anchored in Western Psychology’s Effective Communication Skills, and complete Hali Love’s curated personal development program where you will learn tools to connect to your authentic voice and to the most powerful expression of yourself. You will not only learn how to become a successful Professional Yoga Teacher, but you will deepen the connection within your relationships, improve your self-image, learn tools that will support you in navigating through challenging situations, and enhance your communication skills.  These skills will also enhance your understanding to teach trauma informed yoga and support social equality through yoga.

You will have a 1:1 call to plan or enhance your yoga business with yoga experts who have taught at world renowned yoga festivals, and who have owned successful studios and retreat centres for many years.  You can also take this opportunity to plan a network or branding strategy, including your website creation (or audit), retreat and or workshop planning or anything else you choose to work on.

​

Complete your training with a combination of virtual and in Costa Rica attendance - or all virtual / online.  Special luxury packages are available with the beautiful five-star boutique hotel: Los Altos De Eros!   If you come to Costa Rica, our team will support you in organising your flights, accommodations & meals.  You also receive an unlimited class pass to all classes offered at Playa Negra Yoga Studio & through Virtual Prana for the entire duration of your training.  These classes are offered by our Master Teachers, and provide an example of successful Professional Yoga Classes.

Location

Our Costa Rica Yoga Teacher Trainings are held in Playa Negra, Los Pargos, Guanacaste Costa Rica at Playa Negra Yoga Studio.  The beach is magical, the town is quaint, the waves are beautiful and the sand is warm!

​

The airport you want to fly to is Liberia International, Airport Code: LIR.  Playa Negra is approximately a 90 minute drive.  We will help to arrange your ground transportation once your flights and accommodations are booked.

Playa Negra Yoga

Playa Negra Yoga Studio is located in the middle of the town, only a 7 minute walk to the beach and surrounded by the town's best restaurants.  

​

​Playa Negra Yoga is a community based yoga studio, that supports local business.  CLICK HERE to view the community map that displays the closest accommodation options to the studio.

 

The studio is beautiful, boasting everything you need for your practice (blocks, mats, straps, blankets), AC, a stereo system, and an onsite bathroom.
